Muzaffarabad: Overseas Warriors’ Azam Khan has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee for a level 1 offence for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during the 11th over (10.5) of the Kashmir Premier League, season two, fixture against Bagh Stallions at the Muzaffarabad stadium.

Azam Khan, while batting, showed dissent on field umpire’s decision and tried to mislead him.

As such, he was found to have violated Article 2.8 of the KPL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.

On-field umpires Ahmed Shahab and Imtiaz Iqbal levelled the charge on the batter, who accepted the sanction proposed by match-referee Ali Naqvi.
