We Wholeheartedly Welcome Barrister Kamran Ilyas Raja as the owner of “OVERSEAS WARRIORS”

The event was held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at at KPL Headquarters, Islamabad. Ch. Shahzad Akhtar (CEO KPL) and Mr. Barrister Kamran Ilyas Raja(owner Overseas Warriors signed the agreement.
The event was chaired by the CEO KPL Ch. Shahzad Akhtar while he was accompanied by Mr. Saqib ur Rehman (CMO of KPL), and other personages.
Ch. Shahzad Akhtar welcomed and congratulated the new team management of Overseas Warriors on adding to the strength of KPL.
Furthermore, Barrister Kamran Ilyas Raja said that “Being the first Kashmiri Owner of a KPL franchise is an honor for me. As every 80s kid I grew up in time watching all greats from Imran Khan to Wasim Akram and Inzamam ul Haq (there are many names in this era) however our Cricket went down badly in 2000s and it was a painful experience for all of us, we wanted a system for the development of raw talent, firstly the initiative was taken by PSL and then last year by KPL which has been a mega hit. I am confident that this endeavor will improve the cricket of Pakistan and once again we will shine”.
