Muzaffarabad: Sohaib Maqsood’s stylish 72 off 53 deliveries (5 fours & 4 sixes), including five fours and four sixes, with an able support of 36, 27 and 25 by Hasan Raza, Muhammad Sarwar and captain Umar Amin respectively contributed to Bagh Stallions’ aggregate of 189/5.

Abrar Ahmed and Yasir Shah bagged two wickets each. Shah was expensive with figures of 58 runs off his four overs.

Chasing a demanding ask, Mirpur Royals’ openers – Hasan Nawaz (47) and Ali Imran (47) – provided them with a solid foundation. Shoaib Malik (42 off 25) and Haris Sohail (26 off 15) topped up well however their back to back dismissals derailed the quest, leaving Royals with 17 runs to win in the final over, however they were restricted to 181 runs.

Amer Jamal got two wickets and Bagh Stallions got home by eight runs.
